Artist have always needed support to create great works of art. That support comes in the form of a Patron. This long honored position was usually the provence of the nobility, since they were the only people that had the education and financial resources to support art. The 20th century saw the shift from the nobility to the wealthy classes for the same reasons.

Today, many people have a deep appreciation for art but not the financial strength to support an artist by themselves. This project will generate many separate works of art besides the 20 paintings. There will be sketches, color studies and a limited edition of prints.

I plan to release ownership of suites of sketches, color studies and a selection of first run signed and numbered prints to persons who have lent financial support to this project. The support in no way represents the value of the art given. These will be original drawings, watercolors and pastels. They are offered at this initial stage to raise money to complete the project.

If you are interested in playing a larger role in this project, there are niches for Grand Patrons. As a grand Patron, you would receive updates of the progress of the work, studio visits and choice of one of the final paintings. I have prepared a proposal of the project that describes in detail the concept and execution of the marketing plan as well as additional information about the project itself.
